Pin A fun, tangy snack featuring crisp pickles and creamy cheese, all wrapped in a soft tortilla. Perfect for parties, picnics, or a quick bite.
The first time I made Pickle-in-a-Blanket for my friends, it disappeared almost immediately & everyone asked for the recipe. It's so simple, yet totally addictive.

- Place one whole dill pickle at the edge of each tortilla.
- Roll up:
- Roll the tortilla tightly around the pickle, enclosing all the filling.

Recipe Q&A
- → Can I use a different cheese variety?
Absolutely. Swiss, provolone, or pepper jack make excellent alternatives to cheddar for a new flavor twist.
- → What tortillas work best?
Large flour tortillas are ideal for flexibility and taste, but whole wheat or flavored options also work well.
- → Should the snack be chilled before serving?
Chilling for 15 minutes firms up the rolls, allowing for cleaner slicing and a refreshing taste.
- → How can I adjust for dietary restrictions?
Use gluten-free tortillas and dairy-free cheeses to accommodate various diets. Always check product labels.
- → What flavors pair nicely with this snack?
Crisp white wine or cold lager complements the tangy, creamy profile of the wrap well.
- → Is there a way to increase crunch?
Add finely diced onions or fresh cucumber for more texture inside each rolled tortilla.
