Featured in: Fresh Pasta Creations

This comforting dish features tender macaroni paired with sweet green peas in a light, creamy sauce. Cook pasta until al dente and add peas in the last minutes to retain their sweetness and color. Sauté finely chopped onion and garlic in butter to build depth of flavor before combining with drained pasta and peas. Stir in milk or cream, Parmesan cheese, and reserved pasta water to create a silky coating. Season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes for a subtle kick. Serve immediately with extra grated cheese if desired.

Options include substituting butter with olive oil and dairy with plant-based alternatives for a vegan version, or adding cooked ham or bacon for extra protein and richness.
