07 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

09 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
10 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
11 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
12 - 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

→ Coating

13 - 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

# Directions:

01 - Measure 6 cups of rice cereal squares into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
02 - In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine semi-sweet chocolate chips, creamy peanut butter, unsalted butter, and pumpkin puree. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each, until the mixture is fully melted and smooth, approximately 1 to 2 minutes.
03 - Add vanilla extract and all chai spices (cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, nutmeg, and black pepper) into the melted chocolate mixture. Stir until evenly blended.
04 - Pour spiced chocolate mixture over rice cereal. Using a spatula, gently fold until every cereal piece is uniformly coated.
05 - Transfer coated cereal to a large zip-top bag. Add powdered sugar, seal securely, and shake vigorously until the pieces are completely coated and no longer sticky.
06 - Spread puppy chow on a baking sheet and allow to cool and dry for 10 minutes prior to serving.
