→ Slider Assembly
01 - 12 soft slider buns or dinner rolls
02 - 9 ounces sliced cooked ham
03 - 5 ounces sliced Swiss or cheddar cheese
04 - 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (optional)
05 - 2 tablespoons Dijon or yellow mustard (optional)
→ Topping
06 - 3.5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
07 - 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
08 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
09 - 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
10 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
11 - ½ teaspoon onion powder
12 - Pinch of salt
# Directions:
01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
02 - Cut the slider buns horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms intact. Arrange the bottom halves in the baking dish.
03 - If using, spread mayonnaise and mustard evenly on the buns. Layer half of the cheese, then all of the ham, followed by the remaining cheese over the bottoms.
04 - Place the tops of the buns over the layered ingredients.
05 - Combine melted butter, honey or brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt in a small bowl.
06 - Brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the assembled sliders.
07 - Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
08 - Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
09 - Cut into individual sliders and serve immediately.
