10 - 4 slices sourdough or country bread
11 - 2 tablespoons butter, softened
12 - 1 cup baby spinach or arugula
13 - 1 ripe avocado, sliced
14 - 4 slices provolone cheese or Swiss or mozzarella
# Directions:
01 - In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, minced garlic, parsley, basil, chives, and tarragon. Season with salt and pepper, then blend until smooth and creamy.
02 - Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
03 - Arrange two bread slices, butter-side down, on a clean surface. Spread a generous layer of Green Goddess spread on the unbuttered side of each slice.
04 - Top each prepared bread slice with provolone cheese, baby spinach or arugula, and sliced avocado.
05 - Spread additional Green Goddess spread on the unbuttered sides of the remaining bread slices and place them on top of the sandwiches, butter-side facing up.

07 - Slice each sandwich in half and serve warm.
