# Chef Secrets:

01 -
  • The everything bagel seasoning does all the flavor work while you just butter and cook, making you feel clever for minimal effort.
  • It's ready in 15 minutes but tastes like you've been planning something special.
  • Even picky eaters get excited because the crunchy, salty coating makes it feel like a totally different sandwich.
02 -
  • Don't skip the pressing step while cooking—it melts the cheese faster and helps the outside toast evenly without the inside staying cold.
  • Everything bagel seasoning has salt, so taste before adding more to your butter or the sandwich gets aggressively salty.
  • Medium heat is not negotiable; high heat burns the outside while trapping cold cheese in the middle.
03 -
  • Spread butter when it's soft but not melted so it adheres to the bread instead of soaking in; take it out of the fridge 15 minutes before you cook.
  • Use a nonstick skillet if you have one because the seasoning won't stick to it, keeping your pan cleaner and your sandwich easier to flip.
