01 - 0.5 lb ground beef
02 - 0.5 small onion, finely diced
03 - 1 clove garlic, minced
04 - 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
05 - 0.25 teaspoon salt
06 - 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
07 - 2 tablespoons water
→ Cheesy Flatbreads
08 - 4 small flour tortillas
09 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
→ Crunchy Tacos & Toppings
10 - 4 crunchy taco shells
11 - 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
12 - 0.5 cup shredded Monterey Jack or additional cheddar cheese
13 - 0.25 cup ranch dressing or spicy chipotle mayo
14 - 1 small tomato, diced (optional)
# Directions:
01 - Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook ground beef with diced onion until browned, about 5 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
02 - Stir in minced garlic, taco seasoning, salt, black pepper, and water. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until beef is fully seasoned and moist. Remove from heat.
03 - Warm a nonstick pan over medium heat. Place one flour tortilla in the pan, sprinkle with 0.25 cup shredded cheddar cheese, and cover until cheese melts, approximately 1 to 2 minutes.
04 - Press a crunchy taco shell onto the melted cheese on each tortilla so it adheres, then remove from the pan. Repeat for all tortillas and taco shells.
05 - Spoon the seasoned beef evenly into each crunchy taco shell.
06 - Top with shredded lettuce, shredded Monterey Jack or extra cheddar, ranch dressing or chipotle mayo, and optionally diced tomatoes.
07 - Serve the assembled tacos warm and enjoy immediately.
