# Components:

→ Apples

01 - 3 medium Honeycrisp or Fuji apples

→ Flavorings

02 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
03 - 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional)

→ Lemon Water

04 - 2 cups cold water
05 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice

# Directions:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine cold water with lemon juice to create an anti-browning solution.
02 - Wash and thoroughly dry apples. Using a sharp knife or mandoline, cut apples crosswise into 1/8-inch rounds; remove seeds and cores from each slice.
03 - With a paring knife or mini cookie cutter, carefully carve Jack-o'-Lantern faces or desired designs on the apple slices.
04 - Place apple slices in prepared lemon water for 5 minutes. Drain and pat slices completely dry with paper towels.
05 - Lay apple slices in a single layer inside the air fryer basket, ensuring no overlap. If necessary, work in batches.
06 - Mix cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl and lightly sprinkle over apple slices.
07 - Set air fryer to 300°F and cook apple slices for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping once halfway through. Monitor frequently to achieve golden, crisp chips without burning; thicker slices may require additional time.
08 - Transfer finished chips to a wire rack and allow to cool completely for optimum crispness. Serve once fully cooled.
